Q. What is a non-traditional Bible institute?
A. A non-traditional school does not require you to attend regular classes in order to earn certificates, credentials, degrees and diplomas.

Q. How long does it take to get a degree through TBI?
A. There is no exact answer to that because the length of time required to complete the studies is determined mostly by a student's ability to complete his or her lessons and his or her ability to make the required payment. You may take as long as you need to complete our study programs.

The credit we allow you for religious life experience (religious activities) will reduce the number of lessons required. This will reduce your overall cost. We also give some discounts which reduces your overall costs. To our knowledge, we are the only school which does NOT require you to return lessons once a month. Some students send lessons in every week, some send lessons in once a month, still others send lessons in every two or three months. So, it is really up to you as to how long it will take you to earn a degree. You will have the opportunity to earn a degree in much less time and at only a fraction of the cost of having to take classes on a campus.

Q. Why do I need to earn a degree through Tripp Bible Institute?
A. Many churches, schools, ministries and academies will NOT hire you or use you (no matter how knowledgeable or talented that you may be) unless you have that piece of paper that says that you are a Bachelor or Master.

Employers and organizations recognize that if a person is willing to 'make an extra effort' to earn one of our prestigious degrees or certificates then that person is more likely to be the kind of employee, faculty or staff member who will put forth an "extra effort" in every endeavor in life.

Q. What is the minimum payment for lessons through Tripp Bible Institute?
A. The minimum payment is $15.

Q. How can Tripp Bible Institute offer these courses at such low prices?
A. We are a "school without walls." We have no campus to maintain, no spacious lawns to groom, no library expenses, no expensive equipment to charge for, no sports teams, no busses to run, no fancy catalogs, no expensive textbooks and no overpaid staff. At the present time almost all of our faculty and staff are volunteers who donate their services free of charge because they believe in what we are doing and what we are seeking to accomplish.

Q. Who accepts credits earned through Tripp Bible Institute?
A. Many churches, private religious schools, secular employers, and non-traditional and traditional Bible institutes will accept credit earned through Tripp Bible Institute. In 2004 our studies were accepted by one of the largest affilated hospitals in the state of Florida as legitimate college level studies. In 2002 our studies were recognized by the Board of Education in the State of Maryland as legitimate college level studies.
